Masters in International/ Global Health

The other day a university called me about their Master's Program in the field I would like to pursue. I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with the representative. I have such a thirst for knowledge and it really needs to be quenched soon! It was super because the university is located outside of Utah, the degree can be accomplished all online and I could finish it in 2 years!! What was not super was the price! 58,080 bones to be exact. How does a mommy afford that? How does a mommy find time for that? Especially when half my time right now is spent analyzing why in the world my son doesn't behave frankly the way I try to teach him. Sigh. Still looking for that Masters that is a realistic goal. I don't mind being in my 30s while completing it either! Do any moms or Masters grads have tips!?

SEJA BEM VINDA!

Welcome to my very own humble slice of the internet. Since my husband's health problems started, he has taken over the family blog after spending so much time in hospital beds. My sister Emily suggested I get my own little spot in order to express myself, my dreams, my desires, and a place I can focus on something besides his health problems. So here it is!

As many of my friends have been starting vegan or vegetarian lifestyles, I remember having studied about diet of small children in Uganda. Here are a few articles I wrote that were published in a nutrition journal.

Here is the second article where I analyzed the diet of a child.
